Betanet Overview

The Lamina1 Betanet is a prototype platform that was developed and tested by the Lamina1 core team from August 2023-April 2024. This second testing phase (following Devnet in September 2022, and Testenet in January 2023) offered Lamina1 developers a more stable and persistent environment to test and trial run specific aspects of the network prior to Mainnet. This phase also offered opportunities for Lamina1 partners and community members to improve upon the platform by providing feedback, identifying errors/weaknesses, and evaluating key features and demo experiences on the platform.

With the transition to Mainnet, the Lamina1 Betanet will now be operated and managed by the Open Metaverse Foundation. Please note that the Betanet Hub and Betanet services will no longer be supported by the Lamina1 core team.
