Lamina1 is a platform and protocol for the next era of digital content and co-creation. The Lamina1 platform uses a high-speed Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus algorithm, customized to support the needs of content creators, providing provenance for creatorship and enabling attributive and behavioral characteristics of an object to be minted, customized and composed on-chain.

Since June 2022, Lamina1 has been building its chain, protocol, and platform in Testnet and Betanet alongside a growing community of open metaverse developers, creators, advocates, and enthusiasts across the open web.
