Changing Your Display Name

When you log on to the Hub, you may also notice a Display Name appear above your username on your LAMINA1 Dashboard and Settings Page. 

Your Display Name is a simple username used to easily identify you in transactions, messages, and experiences on the Hub. Unlike your username, it does not need to be unique and allows you to be known by whatever name you prefer while exploring the open metaverse, even if that username is not available for registration or purchase.

Starting out, this name is automatically pulled from the login method you originally chose to set up your LAMINA1 Hub account (e.g. Discord, Email, etc). However, as of October 30, 2023, you can also change it anytime on the ‘Settings’ Page of your LAMINA1 Hub account, as long as you have a Standard or Premium username already reserved on the L1 Identity Service.
