Nodes, Validating, & Staking: An Introduction

To run a Betanet node, stake Betanet tokens, or become a validator, you will have to use the L1 Staking Wallet, which is currently hosted separately from the LAMINA1 Hub.

To access the L1 Staking Wallet, go directly to https://staking.lamina1.com. 

NOTE: You can connect your LAMINA Hub account and L1 Staking Wallet by linking them both to a Metamask wallet during set-up. This method is highly recommended for all Betanet validators. For more information, see the “Connecting Your LAMINA1 Hub to an External Wallet” in the L1 Betanet section above. 

If you do not have a Metamask, you will likely have to connect in two separate Betanet accounts – one on the LAMINA1 Hub and one on the L1 Staking Wallet. In this case, always use your L1 Staking Wallet address for any node, validation or staking-related activities.
