Testnet Overview

The Lamina1 Testnet, hosted on Avalanche's Fuji Network serves as the official testnet for Lamina1 on the Avalanche ecosystem.

Testnet's infrastructure mirrors the Lamina1 Mainnet. It consists of a Primary Network formed by instances of X, P, and C-Chain, as well as many test Subnets.

Lamina1 will deploy two subnets to Fuji;

  1. The Lamina1 Subnet
  2. The Lamina1 Identity Services Subnet

Why Use Fuji Over Betanet?

Fuji provides users with a platform to simulate the conditions found in the Mainnet environment. It enables developers to deploy demo Smart Contracts, allowing them to test their applications in a production-like environment before deploying them on the Primary Network.

Users interested in experimenting with Lamina1 can receive free testnet L1 tokens (L1t), allowing them to explore the platform without any risk. These testnet tokens have no value in the real world and are only meant for experimentation purposes within the Lamina1 Fuji test network.

To receive testnet tokens, users can request funds from a dedicated faucet that will be shared on the LAMINA1 Discord shortly after the public launch.

WARNING: Do not trust or purchase L1 Testnet tokens from any exchange, account or provider.

For local testing, developers also have the option to explore Avalanche Network Runner, ensuring comprehensive evaluation and fine-tuning before interacting with a wider network.
