How To: Unwrapping Rewards on the Lamina1 Hub

If you receive rewards tokens on the LAMINA1 network via staking, airdrop, creator grant, or insider rewards, you will need to occasionally unwrap them in the Wallet to turn them into usable L1. 

Only rewards tokens that have already been claimed via the Governance tab and unlocked (e.g. have completed their designated locking/waiting period and no longer have restrictions on their use or transfer) can be unwrapped via the Wallet. Note that the unlock rate at launch for Rewards L1 (RL1) is currently set at 10% per quarter, and that the current unlock rate for Launch L1 (LL1) is 5% per quarter.

To unwrap tokens via the Wallet, you will simply click the “Unwrap” button underneath Rewards whenever they are available. Confirm the amount you’d like to unwrap via the pop-up modal, and pay a small network fee to do so. 

Note that all airdrop recipients, featured artists, and insiders who are eligible for rewards in the initial onboarding period will receive a small quantity of L1 when they first onboard to help pay for the gas of unwrapping their tokens. Return to this page regularly to keep unwrapping rewards into usable L1 as they unlock.

NOTE: RL1/LL1 rewards tokens will not begin unlocking until after the initial Mainnet/Airdrop onboarding window is over on August 26, 2024. Exact date TBA. Staking and Voting will also launch on the Lamina1 Mainnet at this time.
