Item/Asset Integration: An Overview

For partners and developers interested in launching future Spaces on Lamina1, the Lamina1 core team has compiled a brief guide on how we built, integrated, and deployed the metaverse assets inside two experiences we launched on the Lamina1 Betanet: Space Lasers and Nyric. This integration framework will be used to launch future Spaces on the Lamina1 Mainnet.

Developers can use this guide as a reference on how to create their own assets (using our reference NFT smart contracts), how to describe metadata for the assets, and the asset system involved when building and deploying their own experiences in the future. Right now, launching a Space on Lamina1 is by invitation only, with priority going out to our official partners and those who launched, pitched, or tested experiences with us during Betanet.

That said – if you are currently developing an experience or creating an asset collection that you’d like to launch on Lamina1, you may want to familiarize yourself with the following section. The ability to mint your own items and launch a Space (application) will be coming to the Lamina1 Hub for all Lamina1 creators over the next few months, and we’d like to equip you now with the tools you need to empower an interoperable open metaverse experience from the start.
