Space Creation & Integration
Right now, launching a Space on Lamina1 is by invitation only, with priority going out to our official partners and those who launched, pitched, or tested experiences with us during Betanet.
That said, for creators considering launching a Space with us in the future, we have compiled a brief overview of what Publishing a Space to the Lamina1 Hub will entail after the experience is built, its NFT items are created, the Space is officially registered on Lamina1.
- Create a full build of the experience you’d like to deploy –– using the game engine, creator tools, and/or development software of your choice.
- Host that space independently via a service like WebGL, three.js, or d3. Lamina1 will also support downloadable games as Spaces for experiences that need higher fidelity.
- Incorporate some kind of authentication pass-through in your experience to abstract users’ information. This security layer will be required for all Spaces that want to publish on Lamina1.
- Finally, input required information about that Space for Display on the Hub –– such as the Space’s name, description, discoverability tags, intended audience, content warnings, etc. For now, developers will need to provide us that information directly via a form or document, however, we are currently developing a way for creators to submit this information directly through the Registry once Space publication rolls out publicly on the Lamina1 Hub.
We are excited for you to join our ecosystem of interoperable spaces and will update you on the LAMINA1 Discord as soon as these features are available. For more information about how to make your items and experiences interoperable within the Lamina1 ecosystem, see the Item/Asset Integration section below.
