How to Participate in Betanet

The launch of the LAMINA1 Betanet is tied to the launch of a new v2.0 ‘wallet’ or onboarding platform –– called the LAMINA1 Hub –– which aims to radically simplify the onboarding process & is custom-built for open metaverse builders, use-cases & exploration.

The majority of Betanet testing and feature deployment will take place on the LAMINA1 Hub moving forward, where users will be able to:

Get & transfer Betanet assets

Learn how to set up a LAMINA1 Hub, use the new Discord faucet to get your first Betanet L1 tokens, send & receive assets, and transfer funds

Develop decentralized apps

Developers can use Solidity and the LAMINA1 EVM to build custom assets, marketplaces, bridges, dApps, or anything else you can dream up

Collect & view digital items

Early participants in LAMINA1 Spaces, as well as workshop attendees, and Betanet test project participants can now begin minting and collecting test NFTs in their ‘Items’ tab that show how interoperable assets will work on LAMINA1.

Build on-chain experiences

Learn how to bring blockchain assets into your Unity- and Unreal Engine-built experiences using the Emergence toolkit & several other upcoming SDK integrations, to be announced.

Upload & Manage Digital Items (Coming soon)

Interested in putting your creative endeavors on a blockchain so that they can be traded and used by the L1 community? Soon, we’ll walk you through the process of minting your first NFTs and other assets on the LAMINA1 Betanet.

Launch a Subnet (Coming soon)

Need your own dedicated space to launch a demanding Metaverse experience or add functionality to the L1 platform? Subnets allow you to launch your own interoperable blockchain in the L1 ecosystem.

Explore Open Metaverse Spaces on LAMINA1

Our first metaverse demo Space is now live and ready for testing at hub.lamina1.com/spacelasers. Creating and launching Spaces on LAMINA1 is now available to all L1 Early Access Program members, and will open up to the community as Betanet progresses.

NOTE: Right now, the LAMINA1 Hub is designed to facilitate C-Chain transactions only. To access the X-Chain or P-Chain for staking, validating, or delegating you will need to use the L1 Staking Wallet, an updated version of our previous Web Wallet, which we launched in Testnet.

These functionalities will be eventually migrated over to the LAMINA1 Hub as Betanet testing continues and the platform expands.
